Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support our project management team. This role involves reviewing plans and specifications, contacting potential subcontractors, accurately projecting bid costs, and preparing bids for submission. The ideal candidate will help coordinate and oversee projects from start to completion by submitting necessary paperwork, contacting subcontractors, implementing project schedules, and identifying strategies to meet or exceed deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Review project plans and specifications.
- Contact potential subcontractors for project bids.
- Accurately project the cost of bids and prepare them for submission.
- Coordinate and oversee the project lifecycle from start to completion.
- Submit necessary paperwork and maintain project documentation.
- Implement project schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure project requirements are fulfilled.
Essential Skills
- 1-2+ years of experience in construction management or commercial construction.
- Experience with a general contractor.
- Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in estimating and bidding public projects.
- Familiarity with change orders and estimation processes.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Hope, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $43.26/hr.
