Full-Time
• Must complete 90-day “Team Lead in training program” designed to train and evaluate candidates for the role of Team Lead. (Additional “skills training” may be required).

Responsibilities (additional responsibilities may apply):
Administrative
• Take daily inventory of food stock to create daily prep list
• Checklist/process outline creation
• Report serious issues regarding safety, equipment, staff challenges
• Share positive stories deserving or recognition with staff and management
• Cash drawer open and close
• Key holder to open and close the restaurant.
Team
• Point of contact for minor to moderate challenges that arise
• Daily Break rotation
• Position reassignment when necessary
• Set example for staff in all positions
• Positive reinforcement/motivator of team
• Train new and existing employees on recipes (if applicable) and roles that they have been approved to perform.
• Manage time during morning prep and end of night closing tasks
• Address escalated guest complaints in the absence of Asst. Manager and/or GM
Kitchen Oversight
• Know and reinforce food safety standards (inventory rotation, sanitizer buckets, handwash/gloves, time/temp, etc…).
• Lead for getting shipments/deliveries organized and put away in restaurant and/or off-site storage area.
• Initiate in-service prep when necessary
• Maintain standards for ticket times and service
• Maintain consistency of recipes
• Maintain organization of storage shelves and walk-in
• Maintain food quality standards
• Reinforce restaurant/kitchen rules

Qualifications:
• Able to lift up to 35lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to learn multiple positions and work them interchangeably
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Must pass required certifications
• Minimum 1 continuous year of applicable restaurant experience
• Track record demonstrating strong leadership skills and emotional IQ
• Ability to work 30+ hours/week (up to 5 days)
