This role blends complex litigation with proactive client advisory, working with prominent construction clients across both private and public sectors. You'll be part of a collaborative, down-to-earth office that values mentorship, balance, and professional growth.
What You'll Do:
- Handle all phases of litigation: pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial prep
- Draft and negotiate construction-related contracts
- Manage complex discovery and client communications
- Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Counsel clients to avoid and resolve disputes before they escalate
What You Bring:
- Civil litigation experience (5–7 years), excluding insurance litigation
- Strong writing, case management, and oral advocacy skills
- A construction law background is a plus, but not required
- Proactive, personable, and team-oriented mindset
Why This Firm:
- Base salary starting at $205,000+ DOE
- Bonus structure: $7,000+ for 1,850 hours, $60–$100/hour for excess
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 remote
