Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Applicant Attorney to represent clients in workers' compensation cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal practices related to workers' compensation, ensuring the best outcomes for our clients. This position involves providing legal advice, preparing cases for trial, and advocating for clients' rights throughout the compensation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent applicants in workers' compensation claims and cases
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis
- Prepare and file legal documents in a timely manner
- Advocate for clients during depositions and hearings
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies
- Maintain accurate case files and documentation
- Provide clients with legal advice and updates on case progress
- Collaborate with medical professionals and experts as necessary
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active state bar license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in workers' compensation law
- Strong understanding of legal procedures and regulations related to workers' compensation
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously
- Experience with depositions is a plus
