SarelaTech is actively seeking Network Engineers and Administrators of various experience levels (Intermediate, Senior, and SME) to support a high-profile Department of Defense (DoD) program located at Fort Belvoir, VA.

Our team supports the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in consolidating, modernizing, and continuously enhancing the delivery of mission-critical IT services. This includes designing and maintaining enterprise-class networks across CONUS and OCONUS environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Depending on level and role, responsibilities may include:

• Design, configure, and maintain secure network infrastructures, including WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, and cloud-integrated networks.

• Perform proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response using tools such as SolarWinds, NetOps, Splunk, and ACAS.

• Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.

• Support change management processes (e.g., CAB, CM), and ensure compliance with DoD standards.

• Collaborate with mission partners, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure network reliability and security.

• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and escalation support for junior administrators and Tier I–III staff.

• Create documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), after-action reports (AARs), and executive briefings.

Key Technologies & Tools:

• Cisco (including ACI)

• F5 Load Balancers

• SD-WAN, EVPN, and Software-Defined Networking (SDN)

• Wireless/Wired network technologies

• SolarWinds, NetOps, Splunk, ACAS

• ServiceNow or similar ticketing/change management systems

• IPv4 / IPv6 design and implementation

Basic Qualifications:

• Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance (required based on position)

• 3–10+ years of experience in network engineering/administration

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+, CASP, CISSP)

• Experience with enterprise network operations, troubleshooting, and configuration

• Understanding of ITIL processes and compliance frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams

• Expertise with Cisco ACI, SD-WAN architecture, or DevSecOps environments

• Experience with DoD data center operations and network modernization initiatives

Additional Information:

• Multiple roles are open across intermediate to SME level

• Shift flexibility: Day and Night positions available (including Wed–Sat night shift)

• Some roles may require support of global networks and on-prem/cloud hybrid environments

• Ideal candidates are adaptable, collaborative, and passionate about network innovation in a mission-critical environment
