Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician

If so, Stintino Management is looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team at The District North Hills in Raleigh, NC.

Pay: $22–$25.50 per hour (based on experience)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day maintenance tasks including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and general building upkeep

  • Diagnose and complete maintenance repairs in a timely and efficient manner

  • Complete work orders and respond promptly to resident maintenance requests while providing excellent customer service

  • Assist with preventive maintenance programs to help reduce long-term repair costs

  • Prepare vacant units for move-in, ensuring all units meet company standards

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance shop and storage areas

  • Assist with maintaining inventory of tools, parts, and supplies

  • Coordinate with vendors when necessary under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor

  • Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed

  • Assist with property grounds and common area maintenance as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on maintenance experience (multifamily or apartment experience preferred)

  • Strong working knowledge of basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

  • Availability for on-call rotation, emergency maintenance, and occasional weekends

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work including standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, and working in varying weather conditions

  • Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

  • EPA Universal or HVAC Certification

  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or willingness to obtain

  • Experience with apartment unit turns and preventive maintenance programs
