Job DescriptionOur overarching mission is to ensure that our customers obtain the data they need the first time. We develop and maintain the facilities and test processes that enable the development, certification and long-term support of the entirety of the E&PS product families.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains and improves the assigned test facility in a way that ensures the cell is ready to execute tests for the current and future Honeywell product lines.
- Provides constructive feedback on test plans and test approaches.
- Models Safety, HOS, Behaviors and Continuous Improvement.
- Applies knowledge of complex mechanical products and test methods to learn engine and facility systems and test equipment.
- Supports team in establishing solutions to meet requirements for innovative test solutions for new and existing products.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years' experience as a Turbine Engine or Rig Test Technician or 5 years of experience testing complex mechanical systems.
- Day shift with the ability to work off-shift hours during test under execution timelines.
WE VALUE
- The ability to work in a lab environment, occasionally lifting (up to 35 lb.) and working with large mechanical test equipment and systems including powered industrial vehicles.
- The ability to work outdoors.
- The ability to work occasional overtime (20% is not unusual).

- Direct experience executing complex and/or unique gas turbine engine tests independently.
- Direct experience supporting change efforts that benefit the team and other test stakeholders while improving teamwork.
- Direct experience supporting safety initiatives and data-driven continuous improvement.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with complex, integrated mechanical systems - and playing a lead role in recommending and implementing corrective actions.
- Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work independently - toward achieving team, project and organization vision.
- Demonstrated ability to make timely decisions in the face of ambiguous and complex situations.
- Relevant advanced education (A&P license or equivalent military experience) supporting turbine engine test work.

Salary Range: $56,200 - $70,300 annually. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base bay. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
