Summary


This role is 100% on-site. Remote or Hybrid work is not available.


The Database Analyst will provide technical and organizational support for the Database Manager including but not limited to building offers in player tracking systems, updating existing reports, preparing ad-hoc analysis and preparing lists for direct mail programs, Email marketing, SMS marketing and Soboba app offers.


Duties/Responsibilities

  • Build offers in Casino Management System and other applicable Marketing Offer Management systems.
  • Ensure the database includes only active and mail-able accounts by developing daily audits, developing and implementing data entry standards.
  • Investigate and solve data quality issues and train users as needed.
  • Manipulate, sort and validate player lists in preparation for direct mail vendors, email marketing, SMS marketing and Soboba app offers
  • Prepare graphical interpretation of raw data.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis upon request.
  • Prepare data files for importing and/or exporting.
  • Maintain audit logs and support internal/external audit requests.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures and scripts.
  • Automate routine tasks such as list generation, reporting and data exports.
  • Support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) for integrating multiple data sources.
  • Adjust database settings as directed.
  • Perform database integration and data manipulation of player databases(s).
  • Identify and/or runs mailing lists (direct mail and email) as required from the database(s).
  • Provide consistent database activity status reports.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve player retention and acquisition.
  • Assist in providing support and input into all marketing and operational projects related to database.
  • Identifies inactive guests in the club database.
  • Maintain professional relations with vendors, customers and harmonious relationships with co-workers.
  • Broad variety of tasks and deadlines requires an irregular work schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record. Including weekends and Holidays)
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested.


Education / Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
  • A minimum of two (2) year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience is required. (Database marketing, business, IT, Finance, Mathematics, Analytics)
  • Knowledge of database marketing and reporting programs and systems is required.
  • Experience with the following is preferred but not required: Casino Management Systems (Aristocrat, IGT, Konami), OPTX, Everi Power Kiosk. Preferred
  • Must be proficient in Excel and Access - SQL and Crystal Reporting.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in database marketing or data analysis with strong background in utilizing multiple databases and business intelligence/reporting tools to manage data and reports preferred.
  • Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be numbers-oriented and computer literate, with database and software skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
  • Ability to apply reasoning abilities to a variety of situations.
  • Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.


Certificates, licenses and registrations

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
  • Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.

Salary Details

  • Full-Time Position
  • Salary Range $62,000- $70,000 is dependent on candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
