Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in the applicable jurisdiction, in good standing
- 6+ years of substantive experience in labor and employment law and/or complex litigation
- Strong knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws
- Experience providing advice on workplace law issues, including wage and hour compliance, employee relations, risk mitigation, employment agreements, reductions in force, ADA and workplace accommodations, and employment-related policies
- Demonstrated excellence in legal research, writing, and analytical reasoning
- Proven ability to manage multiple matters and deliver practical, business-oriented solutions
- Commitment to collaboration, professionalism, and superior client service
Key Responsibilities
- Provide counsel to employers on all aspects of workplace law, including compliance, policies, and risk mitigation strategies
- Support and manage litigation matters involving employment disputes, wage and hour claims, discrimination, and wrongful termination
- Advise on employment-related issues arising in corporate transactions, including due diligence and integration planning
- Draft and review employment agreements, handbooks, and internal policies
- Represent clients before federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration panels
- Conduct legal research and analysis on emerging labor and employment law developments
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups to deliver integrated client service
