We’re looking for a customer-focused Aerospace Field Service & Training Specialist who is passionate about aviation, loves hands-on technical work, and thrives on helping customers succeed. You’ll travel to customer sites across the Western US delivering outstanding technical support, hands-on service, and training that helps aerospace and defense customers get the most out of our revolutionary EDM equipment.
Responsibilities
• Provide expert on-site installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of patented EDM systems at customer facilities.
• Deliver high-quality technical training and product demonstrations to military and commercial customers, both on-site and virtually.
• Conduct follow-up visits (typically 3–6 months post-installation) to reinforce training, assess performance, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across OEMs, MROs, military units, and commercial airlines.
• Identify opportunities for customers to benefit from additional support and partner with the sales team accordingly.
• Represent the company professionally at customer sites, trade shows, and industry events.
• Prepare and deliver clear, effective technical presentations and demonstrations to small groups.
• Document site activities, training outcomes, and customer feedback to drive continuous service improvement.
• Contribute to the development of training materials, case studies, and technical content.
• Support bid and proposal efforts with technical insights, and help forecast service needs and customer requirements.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in military, aviation, or aerospace structural maintenance, repair, or field service — required.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable preparing and delivering PowerPoint presentations to small groups.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build positive relationships.
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for approximately 60% travel, primarily across the Western United States.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Experience
• Experience delivering technical training or conducting product demonstrations.
• Familiarity with EDM technology or precision machining in an aerospace or defense context.
• Background working with OEMs, MROs, military maintenance units, or commercial airlines.
• Experience supporting bid and proposal processes with technical input.
Salary Range
$90,000 – $120,000 DOE + Benefits
