We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (MT) to join a hospital laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science and at least 1 year of acute-care laboratory experience.
Salary: $58,177 – $78,520/year
Schedule: Varied Shifts
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing and process patient specimens.
- Verify specimen quality and patient identification.
- Perform daily quality control testing.
- Handle STAT, timed, and critical/panic value results.
- Properly process, store, and transport specimens.
- Assist with specimen collection and phlebotomy as needed.
- Communicate results and patient information accurately.
- Follow laboratory safety and quality procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science – Required
- Minimum 1 year of acute-care laboratory experience – Required
- Clinical laboratory experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
