Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician (Field & Shop)
We are hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician to maintain and repair a fleet of construction and industrial diesel equipment. This role offers a mix of mobile field service and in-shop repairs, ideal for technicians who like variety and autonomy.

What You’ll Work On

Dozers, excavators, wheel loaders, skid steers, backhoes, telehandlers

Forklifts, man lifts, generators, and support equipment

Diesel engines, hydraulics, powertrain, brakes, and steering systems
Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

Perform mobile service calls for on-site breakdowns and emergency repairs

Complete in-shop repairs including engine work and hydraulic hose fabrication

Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot equipment faults

Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime

Document repairs and communicate findings clearly
What We’re Looking For
-
3+ years hands-on heavy equipment or diesel experience

Experience with CAT, John Deere, Komatsu, JCB, or similar equipment
-
Strong diesel, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge
-
Comfortable working independently in the field

Valid driver’s license and local travel availability
-
Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
