Job Description

As a Membership Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to enhance the effectiveness of nonprofit organizations. This position is essential in managing member relations and ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and support.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate membership activities and maintain accurate member records.
  • Provide exceptional customer support to members and respond to inquiries promptly.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of membership recruitment strategies.
  • Manage data entry tasks related to membership applications and renewals.
  • Support the organization of meetings and events for members.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance member engagement and satisfaction.
  • Utilize Google Suite and Microsoft Office for document management and communication purposes.
  • Prepare reports on membership statistics and trends for internal review.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in customer support or office management roles. 2-4 years of experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with proven attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with data entry processes and record-keeping practices.
  • Proficient in Google Suite applications, Microsoft Office, and general computer literacy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Experience in nonprofit organizations is a plus but not required.

We are seeking a highly energized and experienced administrative professional to join our team in Hoffman Estates. Our daily work involves engagement with a diverse group of clients who make a difference in people's lives on a daily basis.

Position requirements include:

  • a minimum of two years office experience
  • at least two years’ experience with MS applications, including Excel
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • An associates’ degree or higher preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time, $18-$23, DOE
