Digital Marketing & Inventory Specialist

Jackson Auto Outlet & Taylor’s Trailers is looking for an in-house Digital Marketing & Inventory Specialist to manage the online marketing, advertising, and merchandising of our automotive and trailer inventory.

This position will be responsible for making sure our vehicles and trailers are accurately listed, professionally presented, aggressively marketed, and visible across our website, Facebook Marketplace, social media, Google, and other advertising platforms.

The ideal candidate is organized, creative, comfortable with technology, and able to work independently. This is a hands-on position — you’ll be working directly with our inventory every day, creating content, updating listings, monitoring advertising performance, and helping us sell more vehicles and trailers.

Responsibilities

Manage online inventory for all cars, trucks, SUVs, trailers, and powersports
Ensure new inventory is photographed, listed, priced, and advertised quickly
Keep vehicle and trailer listings accurate and up to date
Create and manage Facebook Marketplace listings
Create daily Facebook and Instagram posts, Reels, Stories, and vehicle walkaround videos
Photograph and video inventory for online advertising
Write compelling, SEO-friendly vehicle and trailer descriptions
Manage and assist with Facebook/Instagram advertising campaigns
Assist with Google Ads and Google Business Profile
Improve website SEO and local visibility for searches such as “used cars for sale Rome NY” and “trailers for sale Rome NY”
Monitor inventory age and identify vehicles or trailers that need additional marketing attention
Refresh photos, descriptions, pricing advertisements, and campaigns for aged inventory
Promote sales, trade-in offers, financing programs, and dealership events
Monitor leads and advertising performance
Track leads, engagement, website traffic, cost per lead, and advertising ROI
Coordinate directly with ownership and the sales team on weekly marketing priorities
Maintain consistent dealership branding, pricing, phone numbers, addresses, and information across all platforms

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of digital marketing, automotive marketing, social media, or similar experience preferred
Experience with Facebook, Instagram, Facebook Marketplace, and Meta Ads Manager
Familiarity with Google Ads, Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, and SEO
Automotive or dealership experience is a plus, but not required
Experience with inventory management or dealership software is a plus
Comfortable taking quality photos and short-form videos
Strong writing and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, CRM systems, and inventory data
Ability to analyze advertising results and make recommendations
Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects without constant supervision
