Company Description Highline Physical Therapy is a well-established outpatient rehabilitation provider that has grown from a single clinic founded in 1977 to a network of five clinics offering physical, occupational, speech, and massage therapies. The organization also delivers inpatient rehabilitation services through Highline Medical Center, including post-surgical care, acute physical rehabilitation, and gero-psych physical rehabilitation. The team is focused on helping individuals recover after injury or illness, while also emphasizing prevention of future issues. Highline Physical Therapy offers expert, patient-centered care across multiple therapy disciplines and settings, supported by hospital-based services and billing support. Role Description The Physical Therapist is a full-time, on-site role located in Federal Way, WA. This role involves evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based physical therapy interventions in an outpatient and, as needed, hospital-based setting. Daily responsibilities include performing functional assessments, documenting treatment progress, collaborating with other therapy and medical professionals, and educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and self-management. The Physical Therapist will manage a patient caseload, participate in interdisciplinary care conferences when appropriate, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive clinical environment that prioritizes safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • \n

  • Demonstrated expertise in Patient Care and Home Care, including patient education, functional training, and ongoing support.
  • \n

  • Applicable knowledge of Medicine relevant to musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-surgical conditions treated in outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • \n

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent required.
  • \n

  • Current Washington State Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain), and current CPR/BLS certification.
  • \n

  • Effective communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
  • \n

  • Strong organizational skills, professional integrity, and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory patient care.
  • \n

  • Prior experience in outpatient or hospital-based rehabilitation preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
