Responsibilities
- Remove burrs, rough edges, and ridges from metal-cut parts
- Follow written and verbal instructions and complete assigned work orders
- Remove imperfections including gouges and scratches from finished parts
- Operate equipment such as:
- Tumblers
- Table-mounted grinders
- Sanders
- Hand grinders
- Deburring tools
- Semi-automatic polishers/grinders
- Work with aluminum and stainless-steel cut plates
- Clean and degrease parts using tumbling machines, solvents, and high-pressure air equipment
- Safely move materials using overhead cranes, jib cranes, and forklifts when needed
Qualifications
- Previous grinding and deburring experience required
- Experience in a custom metal fabrication shop preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, and forklift equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM
Pay
Up to $21.00 per hour depending on shift, based on experience
