Job description:

Medical Device Assembly & Decontamination Technician
Experience with Medical Devise companies is a plus

  • Performed precision assembly of medical devices in a controlled clean room environment, following strict GMP and ISO standards
  • Executed decontamination and sterilization processes for reusable medical instruments, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines
  • Maintained detailed documentation for batch records, device history records (DHR), and quality checks
  • Conducted visual inspections and quality control testing to ensure product integrity and compliance with specifications
  • Operated within Class 7 / Class 8 clean room environments, adhering to gowning procedures and contamination control protocols
  • Utilized small hand tools, microscopes, and measuring equipment for intricate device assembly
  • Supported packaging, labeling, and sealing of finished medical devices for distribution
  • Worked cross-functionally with quality assurance and engineering teams to resolve production issues

Warehouse & Logistics Experience:

  • Assisted with shipping, receiving, and inventory control of medical components and finished goods
  • Operated pallet jacks and maintained organized stock in accordance with FIFO procedures
  • Performed cycle counts and maintained accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Prepared and staged materials for production lines, ensuring timely workflow and minimal downtime
  • Followed all safety protocols in both warehouse and clean room settings

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in medical device assembly, clean room, or regulated manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with GMP, ISO standards, and FDA regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced production environments
  • Experience balancing clean room responsibilities with warehouse operations
