Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled and dedicated Attorney with expertise in family law to join our team in Menlo Park, California. Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple assignments from partners, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
• Represent clients in family law hearings and other court proceedings independently.
• Collaborate with team members to provide clear and precise communication with clients, opposing counsel, and legal experts.
• Draft, review, and analyze a wide range of legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Conduct thorough legal research using various tools and resources, such as LexisAdvance and Attorney's Briefcase.
• Summarize and provide clear analyses of legal documents and case findings.
• Maintain effective communication with clients to keep them informed and updated on their cases.
• Work closely with legal secretaries, paralegals, and attorneys to ensure smooth case management.• Must hold a valid license to practice law in California and have a minimum of 3 years of family law experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, with familiarity in DissoMaster, Essential Forms, and Lawgic preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to draft high-quality legal documents, including motions, letters, and memos.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills to handle complex legal issues.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills at all levels within the firm.
• Experience with court appearances and the ability to manage client demands under pressure.
• Capability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and work independently with attention to detail.
