Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts. Every other weekend and holidays as required. 36 or 48 hours per week available. 13-week assignment with biweekly orientation.

- Work in an 8-bed high-acuity Cardiac Intensive Care Unit providing specialized care for adult cardiac patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes in a safe, secure environment
- Receive patients from Cath Lab, Emergency Department, and Acute Care areas requiring complex cardiac monitoring and treatment
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week with overtime available after 48 hours
- Competitive compensation for a 13-week contract with potential for extension

Requirements:\n
- \n
- Active Alabama or Compact state RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree required
- AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; PALS required if working in pediatric unit
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience (18 months may be considered with 1 year in specialty area)
- Must pass Dysrhythmia Basic exam during onboarding (2 attempts permitted)
- Willingness to float to other units and facilities as needed
- Experience with Meditech charting system preferred
