At The Pittsburgh Paints Company in Cranberry Township, PA, we thrive on solving problems for pros and DIYers alike. If you enjoy staying active, talking with customers, and turning color ideas into reality, this part-time role could be a great fit.

What success looks like

You greet a contractor, ask the right questions, and recommend the ideal product combination. You mix and match a custom tint, ring up the order at the POS, and load it safely—sometimes that means lifting 5-gallon buckets. An online order pings; you pull stock and stage it. Later, after training, you hop in a company vehicle for a quick local delivery. You keep aisles clean, shelves full, and customers happy—all while working closely with your Store Manager and team.

Compensation, hours, and schedule

• Part-time: 25–30 hours per week
• Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
• Day shift within store hours:
  • Monday–Friday: 7:00am–5:00pm
  • Saturday: 8:00am–12:00pm
  • Sunday: Closed

Your impact

• Counter sales for retail and wholesale customers; offer add-on recommendations to simplify jobs.
• Accurate paint mixing, tinting, and color matching.
• Warehouse operations: safe moving, loading, unloading, and stocking.
• Order and payment processing in person, by phone, online, and via email using the POS system.
• Store upkeep—clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Local deliveries with company vehicles (training provided).

What you’ll need

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license in your state of residence with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, lift, and carry up to 80 lbs periodically and 50 lbs regularly.
• Team-first approach, strong customer service skills, and stable employment history.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime.
• Comfort interacting with customers and performing heavy lifting.
