Roll & Co is a modern quick-service restaurant specializing in build-your-own Vietnamese spring rolls, bowls, and craft drinks. Located inside the Brea Mall food court, we pride ourselves on delivering bold flavors, fresh food, and great hospitality in a fun and fast-paced environment.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shift Lead to help support our Store Manager and oversee day-to-day operations. The Shift Lead will be responsible for running shifts independently, ensuring smooth service, and supporting our FOH team. This is a great opportunity for someone with leadership experience in food service who is ready to step up and grow with an exciting brand.
Responsibilities (may include, but not limited to):
· Supervise FOH team during assigned shifts and lead by example
· Open and close the store, ensuring all tasks are completed to standard
· Assist with scheduling and shift coverage when needed
· Support with inventory management and ordering (including produce and supplies)
· Ensure food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met
· Train, coach, and motivate team members to deliver excellent guest service
· Handle guest issues with professionalism and positivity
· Communicate effectively with Store Manager about shift performance and needs
What We’re Looking For:
· Previous experience in food service or retail leadership (Shift Lead, Key Holder, Supervisor, etc.)
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Ability to multitask and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
· Positive, team-first attitude with a passion for hospitality
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday mall hours
· Reliable and self-motivated—someone who can “run the show” when the manager is offsite
Compensation & Perks:
· Pay: $18–$20/hour depending on experience
