We are seeking a Technical Designer/Patternmaker to be in charge of the following responsibilities;
- Review and evaluate samples for spec, pattern shape, and Construction. Provide measurements including full size grading and construction details.
- Update revised garment specs and fit correction comments upon review. This includes photo or sketch corrections or actual pattern corrections as necessary. Work with the Production Team in fitting samples on form and communicating the necessary information for future production.
- Daily communications with factories to identify and resolve issues with garment construction and production. Track and follow up on pending fit approval samples to ensure on-time delivery.
Skills & requirements;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Patternmaking or related Field.
- 4+ years experience in woven & knit bottoms.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with
attention to details
- Knowledge of garment construction and fitting skills
- Ability to identify problems as well as create a solution to correct pending issues
- Patternmaking experience is a must
