Job Description
NBCU has embarked on a multi-year S4 transformation journey. As part of the Project Keystone, the Operations and Technology organization is looking for an experienced Sr. SAP Product Analyst, Data conversion to work closely with project team and lead Data Migration to SAP S/4 HANA from legacy ECC and other systems.
What will you do?
SAP S4 Data Conversion Strategy, Plan and Execution -
- Drive next-gen S/4 data conversion strategy for data quality improvement, integrity and governance
- Partner with the business and system integrator to plan the data conversion detail project plan
- Establish future state business requirements and subject matter expertise for data relevancy, cleansing, mapping etc.
- Lead business through data concepts such as Data Stewards, Data Governance, Mock Load, Data Objects, Data Owners, etc.
- Cross-functional team alignment for data volume, field mappings, defect resolution
- Convert the business requirements into functional specifications
- Monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
- Provide status updates, log, and escalate risks/issues/decisions, participate in program governance.
- Able to make recommendations for the selection of an appropriate data migration strategy.
- Assist in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, and accelerators.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Science in a related field
- 3+ years of SAP experience as business analyst preferably in MDG/FICO
- More than 3 SAP end-to-end implementations leading data migration
- Experience in data management, including leading the data migration execution: cleansing, extracting, staging, transforming, loading, validation, and defect resolution
- Data profiling and cleansing approach expertise.
- Working experience of data load ETL tools such as SAP BODS, LSMW, LTMC, etc.
- Design and leadership of mock loads and data validation cycles.
- Experience facilitating cross-functional team members with complex schedules.
- Team lead expertise - stream planning, status reporting, managing governance, managing the team against the plan, escalating risks/issues/decisions/changes, budget management, etc.
- Understanding of leading practices for data governance approach, center of excellence/shared services structures, and data governance processes/procedures.
- Strong oral, written, and people skills.
- Self-starter to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge.
- Exhibit collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Strong organization skills and detail-oriented with the ability to manage own work as well as track the activities of others.

Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000
