Field Technician – Outdoor Work | Career Path to CDL Driver
Location: Shawnee, KS
Pay: Starting at $20.00/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
Future Advancement: CDL Driver & Equipment Operator opportunities earning $26-$31/hr
Are you looking for a long-term career instead of just another job? We are seeking dependable Field Technicians to join a growing industrial services company. This is a hands-on, outdoor position with opportunities to learn specialized skills and advance into CDL driving and equipment operation roles.
Responsibilities:
- Assist field crews with excavation and industrial service projects
- Support equipment operators with daily job site activities
- Set up, clean up, and maintain work areas
- Handle hoses, tools, materials, and equipment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain equipment and vehicles
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Comfortable working outdoors and getting dirty
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the day
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Construction, landscaping, utility, excavation, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required
