Dudley and Smith, P.A. is seeking an Associate Attorney, with a minimum 3 years of experience in real estate and general business matters, familiar with commercial documents, knowledge in business and corporate transactions and a wide variety of real estate matters. This is a full-time position available at a well-respected, well-known, Twin Cities law firm that has been in existence for over 70 years. Applicants also need to have strong verbal and written communication skills. The firm is seeking a smart, confident, well-rounded individual who is motivated, creative, common sense-oriented candidate with great critical and analytical skills. Must be duly licensed in the State of Minnesota. Must be a people person and a team player.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies
- Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
- Advise clients on business and legal transactions
- Perform legal research
- Manage a variety of day-to-day Real Estate and general business matters
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years previous experience required in Real Estate and general business
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent through each task performed
- Strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of Business and Real Estate Law
- Excellent academic credentials and references
