Marty's GMC Isuzu is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our busy automotive service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dealership service operations and a proven ability to provide excellent customer service while driving service revenue. Experience in direct repair is a must, as you will be thoroughly explaining recommended services to customers and verifying best procedures with technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and professionally as they arrive
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
- Write clear and detailed repair orders
- Recommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle needs
- Communicate with technicians regarding diagnostics and repair progress
- Keep customers informed on vehicle status and timelines
- Review completed work with customers and explain charges
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Bring your best positive attitude with you everyday
- Follow dealership policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records in the DMS system
- Maintain timely paperwork processing
- Great organizational skills
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum [1] years of experience as a Service Advisor (dealership preferred)
- Ability to read and speak English (required)
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance services
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Experience with dealership DMS systems, Reynolds & Reynolds, a plus
