Compensation: $206,000 – $270,000 base salary
Additional Compensation: Full benefits package + annual bonus
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. — no visa sponsorshipThe OpportunityHireNow Staffing is representing a highly regarded, global professional services organization seeking a Director, Enterprise Content Management Systems to lead the strategy, governance, and operational excellence of its document management and collaboration platforms.This role is mission critical. The Director will be responsible for ensuring enterprise content systems are secure, compliant, scalable, and user-centric, while supporting firmwide business objectives in a highly regulated, client-facing environment. The organization is seeking a leader with demonstrated long-term career stability, deep platform expertise, and the ability to balance technical rigor with business partnership.This position requires an executive mindset, strong people leadership, and the credibility to operate as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesCandidates will be considered for interview based on demonstrated experience performing the following responsibilities at a senior leadership level:

  • Lead the enterprise strategy and operational excellence of content management and collaboration platforms, delivering secure, compliant, and scalable services aligned with organizational objectives
  • Establish, enforce, and continuously evolve governance standards for ECM systems in alignment with information security, risk management, and compliance requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement by evaluating system performance, user adoption, operational metrics, and emerging business needs
  • Serve as the senior escalation point and strategic liaison for ECM vendors and internal stakeholders, ensuring strong partnerships, effective contracts, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in enterprise content management and collaboration, translating insights into actionable recommendations and long-term roadmaps
  • Define and execute ECM investment priorities, aligning platform strategy with enterprise IT objectives, information governance policies, and business requirements
  • Provide leadership and accountability for the ECM organization, including workforce planning, performance management, and professional development, ensuring high service levels and operational resilience
  • Oversee the availability, reliability, and support of core ECM platforms, including document management, collaboration tools, and client-facing systems, ensuring business continuity
  • Provide architectural and technical oversight for complex ECM implementations and integrations, ensuring scalability, security, and adherence to enterprise standards

Only candidates with proven ownership of enterprise-scale ECM platforms in regulated environments will be considered.Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)These qualifications are mandatory. Candidates who do not meet all requirements will not be considered for interview.

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise IT systems, including senior leadership responsibility for business-critical, highly available platforms
  • 5+ years of direct people leadership experience, including team development, operational accountability, and performance management
  • 5+ years of leadership experience owning enterprise content or document management systems, with responsibility for strategy, delivery, governance, and optimization
  • Demonstrated experience operating in highly regulated, client-facing environments, such as legal, financial services, or comparable professional services organizations
  • Proven track record of career longevity and stability in prior roles
  • Deep expertise governing enterprise document management and collaboration platforms

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience managing enterprise intranet and collaboration platforms, including usability, lifecycle planning, and governance
  • Strong background supporting professional services organizations, including delivery of secure external collaboration solutions such as client portals, deal rooms, and team workspaces
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear guidance for executive and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with enterprise strategy
