To assist and encourage residents to participate in social and recreational programs at the facility. Assist with the planning and implementation of the activity program.

Assists in developing, planning, organizing and implementation of activity program and activities.

Assists in decorating facility for holidays and themed events.

Assists in planning weekly and monthly calendars.

Assists residents with activities.

Reminds residents of activities and encourages participations through personal invitation.

Encourages residents to participate at their own level.

Enable residents to engage in activities that enhance or maintain their quality of life.

Empower residents to develop and maintain their intellectual, physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellness by horning resident preferences and choices.

Set up the physical area as needed for the type of activity planned.

Ensure that great room, activity areas, and activity storage areas are clean, neat and organized.

Assist with indoor/outdoor plant care.

Leads group resident activities (ex. exercise, bingo, etc.) and also works one-on-one activities.

Obtains and develops new ideas from staff, residents and other resources.

Maintain daily resident activity attendance records.
