Are you a people-person who enjoys working in a warm, welcoming environment where community matters? We're an indoor play space looking for a reliable, friendly Front of House Host to join our team and help create positive experiences for families every day.
The Opportunity
This role starts as part-time morning shifts, but we're looking for someone who is genuinely excited to grow with us into a full-time position over time. As the role expands, hours will extend into afternoons — so we need someone with the flexibility and an interest in growing alongside a small, community-focused business.
About the Role
You'll be the first face families see when they walk through our doors — and a big part of why they leave feeling welcome. You'll be doing everything from welcoming guests to supporting events and helping keep our play spaces safe, calm, and organized. Weekdays have a natural rhythm, while birthday parties and group visits bring a lively energy — you'll need to enjoy both.
What You'll Be Doing
- Welcoming families and creating a great first impression
- Delivering friendly, attentive front of house service
- Keeping the space clean, safe, and organized — including our play areas
- Supporting events, bookings, and daily operations
- Bringing great energy to a busy, fun team environment
- Helping maintain a calm, positive atmosphere for both children and caregivers
- Warm, dependable, and genuinely enjoy working with families and young children
- Capable of working at a decent pace when required.
- Experience in hospitality, customer service, education, or another people-focused role
- Reliable, a team player, and able to stay calm during busy moments
- Interested in growing into a longer-term role as the business expands
- This role can be a wonderful fit for someone returning to the workforce who enjoys being part of a community-focused space
- Monday to Saturday — morning shifts to start
- Afternoon availability as the role grows into full-time
- Some Sundays and public holidays
- $23–$28 per hour + penalty rates (casual)
