Job Summary:

  • We’re seeking a skilled Project Engineer II to lead and manage engineering projects from planning through execution. This role plays a key part in coordinating cross-functional teams, managing resources, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. You'll also support operational improvements and engineering problem-solving across departments in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.


Job Duties:

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and communications to guide successful execution.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to drive project outcomes.
  • Manage project budgets, draft proposals, and implement cost-effective solutions.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and adjust plans as needed.
  • Lead post-project evaluations and implement lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles to increase efficiency.
  • Assist with engineering studies and support maintenance or equipment-related issues.
  • Uphold GMP standards and report any safety or quality concerns promptly.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 4–7 years of experience in engineering project management or related role.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks.
  • Hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation software and control systems.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Infor) and basic database structure is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
