Job Summary:
- We’re seeking a skilled Project Engineer II to lead and manage engineering projects from planning through execution. This role plays a key part in coordinating cross-functional teams, managing resources, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. You'll also support operational improvements and engineering problem-solving across departments in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
Job Duties:
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and communications to guide successful execution.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to drive project outcomes.
- Manage project budgets, draft proposals, and implement cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and adjust plans as needed.
- Lead post-project evaluations and implement lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles to increase efficiency.
- Assist with engineering studies and support maintenance or equipment-related issues.
- Uphold GMP standards and report any safety or quality concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 4–7 years of experience in engineering project management or related role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks.
- Hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation software and control systems.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Infor) and basic database structure is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
