Job DescriptionAre you someone with hands-on experience in pipe fusion who enjoys working outdoors, traveling to job sites, and being part of field projects? We’re hiring a Pipe Fusion Technician for a role that combines technical skill, physical work, and travel across Texas.This position is a great fit for someone who is mechanically inclined, comfortable working in different environments, and confident handling HDPE pipe fusion and installation support.Responsibilities:

• Perform HDPE pipe fusion (butt fusion) in both shop and field environments
• Travel to job sites across Texas to support installation and fusion work
• Set up, operate, and maintain fusion equipment
• Assist with pipe installation, alignment, and job-site support
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to complete work accurately
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification

Requirements:

• 2+ years of HDPE pipe fusion experience required
• Experience with fusion equipment (McElroy, Contech, or similar preferred)
• Willingness to travel frequently (projects range from 1 day to several weeks)
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (CDL Class C preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions
• Must be able to pass drug test

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• In Shop: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• On the field: Hours vary - possible weekends

Pay Rate:

• $24–$27/hour + per diem when traveling
