Painter Systems Technician I
Position Overview:
The Painter Systems Technician I is an entry-level role responsible for spray painting, stencil painting, and general assembly of machinery and systems at T.J. Clark International. This position combines painting expertise with assembly tasks to ensure high-quality, durable finishes and functional systems for defense and expeditionary applications. The role offers opportunities to develop technical and painting skills while collaborating with experienced technicians and engineers.
Key Responsibilities:

Apply spray paint and stencil markings to machinery components, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet military and company standards.

Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed.

Perform general assembly of mechanical and electrical components according to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.

Conduct light fabrication tasks, such as cutting, drilling, or shaping materials, to support assembly processes.

Inspect painted surfaces and assembled systems for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications.

Maintain painting equipment, including spray guns and stencils, ensuring proper function and cleanliness.

Adhere to safety protocols, including proper handling of paints, solvents, and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and production goals.

Document painting and assembly processes, reporting any deviations or issues to supervisors.
Experience:

No prior professional experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.

Basic knowledge of spray painting, stencil techniques, or surface preparation is a plus.

Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, or assembly processes is preferred but not mandatory.
Education:
