🚨 Insurance Defense Associate | Farmingdale, NY (Hybrid 3 days in) – Up to $170k Base

Location/Schedule: Farmingdale, NY (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

Base Salary: Up to $170k (plus performance incentives)

Practice: Insurance Defense – General liability, premises liability, auto/trucking, construction defect, and complex casualty defense for insurers and self-insured clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Defend insureds and self-insured clients in general liability, premises, auto, trucking, and construction defect cases.
• Manage litigation from discovery and depositions through motion practice, mediation, and trial.
• Prepare coverage analyses, reservation of rights letters, and claims strategy recommendations.
• Negotiate settlements and appear in court on behalf of clients.

Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates):

• JD and active NY bar (NJ a plus).
• 2–6+ years of insurance defense or complex civil litigation experience with strong litigation skills.
