Affordable Housing Property Manager – Weekly Pay – Immediate Hiring

Location: Twin Cities, Minnesota
Pay: $29–$34/hour (Higher pay based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time

Career Strategies is actively hiring an experienced Affordable Housing Property Manager for a full-time opportunity in Twin Cities, Minnesota. We are seeking a motivated and experienced property management professional with a strong background in affordable housing compliance, resident relations, and operational leadership.

The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing affordable housing communities, maintaining regulatory compliance, achieving occupancy goals, and leading onsite teams while delivering exceptional resident experiences.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the property and onsite staff
  • Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations including LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, Tax Credit, and other affordable housing programs
  • Manage leasing activity, occupancy goals, waitlists, and resident retention efforts
  • Review and approve certifications, recertifications, income calculations, and compliance documentation
  • Monitor rent collections, delinquency reports, budgets, and financial performance
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of work orders and property upkeep
  • Conduct property inspections to ensure community standards and compliance requirements are maintained
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and resident files through property management software
  • Supervise staff performance, provide coaching, and support team development
  • Support operational goals, reporting requirements, and overall community performance


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Property Manager experience required
  • Affordable Housing Property Management experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, Tax Credit, Fair Housing, and compliance regulations
  • Experience processing certifications and recertifications
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
  • Experience with Yardi, RealPage, OneSite, ResMan, AppFolio, or similar property management software
  • Experience managing occupancy, collections, and resident retention goals
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution skills
