We are a growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) delivering enterprise-grade IT solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. Our team is dedicated to proactive support, security-first architecture, and long-term client partnerships. We are seeking a skilled and client-focused Network and Systems Engineer to join our technical team.

Position Summary
The MSP Network and Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting client IT infrastructure across multiple environments. This role requires strong expertise in networking, server administration, virtualization, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity best practices. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced MSP environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges. This role is an On-Site Position (5 Days a Week in Office w/ some Weekend or After-Hours Support)

Key Responsibilities:
Network Administration

  • Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN environments
  • Deploy and manage firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless infrastructure
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
  • Implement VPN and secure remote access solutions

Systems Administration

  • Manage Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
  • Administer virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Oversee backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Perform patch management and system updates

Cloud & Modern Infrastructure

  • Deploy and manage Microsoft 365 environments
  • Support & Implement Azure, MS Entra and AWS infrastructure
  • Configure hybrid cloud environments
  • Migrate on-premises systems to cloud platforms

Client Support & Projects

  • Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 escalation support
  • Lead infrastructure projects and client onboarding
  • Document environments and maintain accurate technical records
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical clients
  • Remote & On-Site Client Support
  • On Call Rotation

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in an MSP or multi-client environment
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching
  • Experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V)
  • Experience with firewalls such as Fortinet, SonicWall, Meraki
  • Experience with Ubiquiti Switches, Firewall, Access Points
  • Solid troubleshooting and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, VMware)
  • Experience with RMM and PSA tools
  • Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell preferred)
  • Experience with backup platforms and BDR appliances

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple client environments
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits
  • Team player with a proactive mindset
