We are looking for an experienced Spanish speaking legal assistant who can help the busy attorneys at our law office assist clients.

You’ll be responsible for managing office correspondence, including answering phone calls and emails, arranging meetings and travel, and ensuring our legal team is aware of upcoming deadlines. You’ll also assist with preparing legal documents and fee agreements, and perform any other tasks as needed to ensure our firm is operating efficiently. Compensation- $40,000 - $59,000 Commensurate with Experience (plus performance bonuses)

Responsibilities:

• Take care of administrative tasks and office correspondence by answering phone calls and emails, communicating with opposing attorney offices, taking dictation, and informing the team of upcoming deadlines
• Help with creating a variety of litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, contracts, and briefs for case preparation, and proofread documents when necessary
• Make travel arrangements, schedule meetings and appointments for the team, such as depositions, and coordinate with outside vendors for events
• Be willing to take on any other necessary administrative tasks to help the firm run smoothly

Qualifications:

• Must speak fluent Spanish
• Must have experience as a legal assistant (minimum 1-2 years)
• Candidates must have worked with legal software, case management, and docketing programs (Experience with Clio and/or Lawmatics is a big plus)
• Must be able to type at least 50 WPM
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with quick turnaround times
• Comfortable working with all Microsoft Office products, Adobe, and gmail
