Position: Field Service Power Generation Technician Level II
Location: Memphis, TN
Type: Direct Hire (15% Fee)

Job Description:

Key Requirements:

• 8+ years of direct diesel engine experience (industrial settings only – no residential).
• Experience with large generators (4kW–2500kW) – including electrical systems (not just mechanical).
• Preferred: New unit installs, commissioning switch gear, and paralleling.
• Training: Fast-track options available; includes safety training (70-E) and load banking.
• Schedule:
• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• On-call rotation (1 week/month) | Overtime available
• Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on power generators at customer sites.
• Diagnose issues using specialized tools and follow documented procedures.
• Maintain accurate service records, warranty claims, and timesheets.
• Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies.

Qualifications:

· Technician Level II/III:

• Level II: Moderate experience, requires limited supervision.
• Level III: Advanced experience, minimal supervision needed (can mentor junior techs).
• Education/Certifications:
• Vocational diploma or Apprentice Certified Power Generation/Electrical Tech (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license & DOT physical required.

· Driving Record:

o Clean 5-year MVR (no major violations).

o 21+ years old with 3+ years driving experience.
