Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare facility is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support their Retail and Long Term Care pharmacy operations in the South Point, OH area. This per diem position offers an opportunity to provide expert pharmaceutical care and excellent customer service in a dynamic setting.
Location: South Point, OH
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (9 hours/day)
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (6 hours)
Total Weekly Hours: 42
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately distribute medications as prescribed by physicians and other authorized practitioners
- Provide clear, helpful information to patients regarding medication usage, side effects, and storage
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure patient satisfaction and safety
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards of practice
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Ohio Pharmacist License (required)
- Experience in Retail and/or Long Term Care pharmacy settings (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
