Mess Hall Attendant
Location: Aurora, CO 80011
Job Type: Part Time, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
Schedule: One weekend a month, Saturday and Sunday with the availability to work a Thursday or Friday with advance notice
Summary: As a Mess Attendant, your responsibilities include providing high-quality guest service and maintaining outstanding interpersonal relations. This involves cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen equipment to included dishwashing (automatic machine and manually), cleaning of the floors and trash removal. Additionally must adhere to food safety guidelines.
Responsibilities: Included but not limited to
- Washing dirty dishes, cutting boards, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Emptying, and re-lining garbage cans as required.
- Cleaning and sanitizing all meal preparation areas.
- Sweeping and mopping the kitchen and dining areas before and at the end of shifts.
Requirements & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- The ability to pass a government background check.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
