Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol CRE in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your presence and regular patrols will support a positive experience for tenants, visitors, and staff. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding our core values of reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including both indoor areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and other personnel, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and any unusual activities according to Allied Universal protocol.
• Collaborate with local authorities and property management teams during emergencies or other significant events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
