SUMMARY OF POSITION
The OKAG Network is seeking a part-time, seasonal custodian who will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, campers, and guests. This role ensures all facilities are cared for according to health, safety, and organizational standards while supporting a culture of excellence and hospitality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Facility Cleaning & Maintenance
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors
- Clean and disinfect restrooms daily
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Dust furniture, fixtures, vents, and surfaces
- Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors
- Maintain lobby and entryways to ensure a welcoming first impression
Event & Service Support
- Set up and tear down tables, chairs, and equipment for meetings or events
- Ensure event spaces are reset and clean following use
- Ensure trash cans are emptied and liners replaced, and restrooms are cleaned and stocked
Building Care
- Monitor supplies and notify supervisor when inventory is low
- Report maintenance issues (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
- Assist with minor repairs when appropriate
- Maintain outdoor areas such as sidewalks, entrances, and trash receptacles
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment
- Ensure walkways are hazard-free
- Lock and secure building when scheduled
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or facilities experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to occaisionally work weekends as needed

Physical Requirements
- Standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
