Schedule
Schedules are based on client needs and employee availability. Opportunities may include:
- Evening/second shifts
- Night shifts
Travel: Within approximately a 60-mile radius.
Responsibilities
Caregivers play an important role in helping clients live comfortably in their homes and stay connected to their communities. Responsibilities may include:
- Providing personal care and hygiene support
- Assisting with daily living activities
- Cooking meals for clients
- Completing light cleaning and laundry
- Offering companionship and respite care
- Assisting with transportation, shopping, and errands
- Giving medication reminders
- Aiding with mobility and ambulation
- Documenting and reporting changes or unusual incidents
- Handling emergencies with care and good judgment
- Performing other assigned duties
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous personal care, home care, hospital, nursing home, or direct-care experience preferred
- Compassionate and dependable approach to client care
- Ability to read, write, and follow directions
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
- Successful completion of a required criminal history check
