SCOPE/SUMMARY: The IT Director oversees and manages the companys' technology infrastructure, strategy, and operations.

This executive role bridges the gap between the technical team and management, focusing on digital transformation, budgeting, cybersecurity, and ensuring tech initiatives align with broad business goals.

This person would align IT initiatives with business goals, manage budgets, and lead cross-functional teams with Managers and Supervisors to implement software, infrastructure, or cybersecurity upgrades.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Align the company's 3-to-5-year IT roadmap with overall business objectives, anticipating future growth and technology requirements
  • IT Operations & Infrastructure: Manage daily technical operations, including networks, hardware, software, and employee needs.
  • Budgeting & Procurement: Develop and manage capital and operating budgets for the IT department, negotiate vendor contracts, and manage software/hardware licensing.
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance: Direct security strategies to identify and eliminate vulnerabilities, manage incident response, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Leadership & Team Building: Mentor manager and supervisors.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 5-7+ years of progressive IT experience, including management and leadership roles.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), disaster recovery, and networking.
  • Business Acumen: Strong financial planning, change management, and negotiation skills.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for executives and stakeholders
