The Opportunity:Reporting to the Plant Manager and working closely with the manufacturing team, the Production Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Millwork facility operations. Primary Responsibilities:Facilitate employee compliance with safety, quality, productivity policies, programs, and procedures.To manage the availability of labor against the plan and to work with colleagues to optimize labor across the Manufacturing functions.Ensure quality standards are being met.Assign, supervise, motivate, and evaluate behavior and performance of employees.Confer with Project Managers and/or other team members to ensure established schedules maintain accuracy; re-establish the schedule as necessary.Ensure team member training for proper equipment use and overall workplace safety. Ensure a clean and safe work environment is maintained.Achieves manufacturing KPIs by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and issuing corrective employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.Develops and recommends improvements of facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.What you bring:Minimum 5 years of supervisor experience preferred.5-7 years working within the cabinet industry or specializing in wood products.Experience in planning, coordinating, and supervising personnel and production operations is required. Detailed oriented, proficient with basic math and able to work in team environment required.Ability to work without supervision and to make appropriate decisions.Ability to process work with accuracy and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong communication skills to actively listen to stakeholders and clearly verbalize ideas and action plans.Experience in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.Merric is an equal opportunity employer.
