Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Attorney with expertise in Probate and Estate Litigation to join our team in Coral Gables, Florida. As a member of our Trusts and Estates Law Firm, you will play a key role in advocating for Executors and ensuring Beneficiaries are treated equitably. This position offers long-term growth opportunities in a collaborative and detail-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee probate and estate litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Draft and review substantive legal documents, including complaints, motions, correspondence, and pleadings for contested matters.
• Conduct in-depth legal research on various probate issues to support case strategies.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to paralegals and legal assistants effectively.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, subpoenas, and document requests.
• Attend court hearings and client meetings to represent cases and provide legal counsel.
• Edit and finalize probate documents for formal and summary administrations, guardianships, and conservatorships.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure cases are handled efficiently and with attention to detail.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Probate, Guardianship, and Adversarial Probate litigation.
• Proven ability to independently manage cases from start to finish.
• Active membership in The Florida Bar.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Familiarity with case management software and document management tools.
• Strong skills in legal research, writing, and courtroom practice.
