Companion Services/ Home Maker
Starting at $19.50 to $21/hr
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Companion / Personal Assistant to provide in-person support to individuals who benefit from consistent companionship and light daily assistance. This role is ideal for someone who values meaningful interaction and is committed to enhancing the quality of life for others through attentive, respectful care.
Key Responsibilities

Friendly companionship and engaging conversation

Reading, games, hobbies, or simply spending quality time together

Emotional support for individuals living alone or adjusting to life transitions

Light errands such as pharmacy pick-ups, grocery shopping, or local outings

Participating in recreational activities like crafts, light walks, or gardening

Offering light assistance with organization and basic household tasks
-
Helping maintain daily routines and providing a sense of stability
-
Being a calm and caring presence that promotes overall well-being

Accompany client to Doctor appointments and community Events

Light Home maker services(Meal prep or assist, and Organization)

Assist with coordination of social activities and outings
-
Monitor client well-being and report concerns to care coordination team

Respect client preferences, culture, and personal choices
Ideal Candidate

Naturally empathetic and an excellent listener

Professional, reliable, and patient in their approach

Discreet and respectful of privacy and personal boundaries

Clear and professional in both written and verbal communication

A driver with valid driver's license
-
Comfortable providing 1-on-1 in-person support, often to seniors or individuals needing social interaction in their own homes
Minimum Requirements

CPR certified (AHA or Red Cross)

Clear background and fingerprint clearance
-
Valid driver’s license & clean DMV record
-
Pass pre-employment drug screening
-
Flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends
-
Reliable, professional, and punctual
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Able to assist with mobility and transportation
Working Environment

In-home and community-based client visits
-
Local travel may be required
-
May work with clients who have physical or cognitive limitations
-
Flexible scheduling based on client needs
