A Personal Care Assistant (PCA) is responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Personal Care: Assisting clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Health Monitoring: Performing basic health care tasks such as checking pulse, temperature, and assisting with mobility.
- Household Support: Preparing meals, performing household chores like laundry and cleaning, and helping with shopping.
- Companionship: Providing emotional support and companionship to clients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Promoting Independence: Encouraging clients to perform tasks independently while providing necessary assistance.
