Are you an experienced automotive technician ready to join a busy, established shop where you can stay productive, make money, and have your weekends back?
55 Tires & Service, a family-run automotive repair shop established in April 1997, is looking for an A-Level / Master Automotive Technician to join our team.
We’ve built this shop by taking care of customers the right way, investing in our team, and building something meant to last.
We work on all makes and models, with a strong mix of domestic and Asian vehicles, plus diesel trucks and some European. Whether your background is in Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, Ram, Jeep, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, diesel, or a mix of everything, we want to hear from you.
We run aggressive marketing, have a strong repeat customer base built over decades, and very rarely have a slow day. Many of our customers trust us to leave the vehicle with us, let us determine what it needs, and take care of it the right way. That trust creates strong workflow and real repair opportunities for a productive technician.
We’re not just basic maintenance and tires. We handle a wide range of real repair work, including diagnostics, timing work, camshafts, engine replacements, transmission replacements, differential and PTU work, heater cores, evaporator cores, suspension, brakes, drivability, and general repair.
Conveniently located near I-55 and Butler Hill in a busy South County area, we’ve built a loyal customer base, strong local visibility, and a reputation for taking care of people the right way.

What You Bring to the Team
- 5+ years of hands-on automotive technician experience
- Strong diagnostic, repair, and maintenance ability
- Comfortable with domestic and Asian vehicles; diesel experience is a plus
- Ability to handle drivability, electrical, suspension, brakes, maintenance, and major repair work
- A “fix it right the first time” mindset
- Great communication and a team-first attitude
- Valid driver’s license
- Own tools
Your Role at 55 Tires & Service
- Diagnose and repair vehicles correctly and efficiently
- Perform inspections and clearly document findings
- Work closely with service advisors to keep jobs moving
- Handle a mix of maintenance, diagnostics, and heavier repair work
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and professional
