Location: Irving, Texas (Onsite) CONTRACT ROLE

Overview

Our client, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced Epic Interface Analyst (Integration Specialist) to join their Technical Integration Team onsite in Irving, TX.

This role focuses on Epic Bridges, data conversions across multiple EMRs, and the development of HL7/FHIR interfaces to ensure seamless communication between clinical systems. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, translating complex integration challenges into clear, actionable solutions for business and clinical teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT and clinical teams to analyze, design, develop, and implement system interfaces that support hospital operations and patient care.

  • Develop and troubleshoot message movement, translation, and integration between Epic and other healthcare systems.

  • Perform gap analyses to identify differences between customer specifications and technical capabilities.

  • Translate technical messaging analysis into understandable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Support the resolution of issues related to message transformation, data flow, and system connectivity.

  • Participate in testing, validation, and documentation of interface designs and upgrades.

What You Must Have

  • Epic Bridges certification (with online verification).

  • Experience migrating and converting data across multiple EMRs to Epic.

  • Bachelor’s Degree (verification required).

  • Minimum 5 years of IT experience in technical analysis, design, and integration implementation.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience integrating messaging between healthcare systems (EMRs, applications, or third-party vendors).

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with relational databases, Transact-SQL, and SQL.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Visio.

Nice to Have

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on system integration and interface design.

  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in team-oriented, multi-departmental environments.

  • Familiarity with HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, or Mirth Connect integration engines.
