Job Description
As a Squad member, you strive to consistently deliver the MOD Pizza experience to all customers. You are a role
model of super-fast service and help create a memorable, inspiring, and unique experience, while preparing and
presenting outstanding pizzas and salads within a cool environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Make pizzas, salads and other menu offerings adhering to MOD standards to ensure the best possible
finished product
• Prepare, cook, and package customer orders ensuring timely, quality, and consistent execution every time
• Follow all food safety prep and storage standards/procedures as they are defined in MOD operations
resources and training
• Use the tools provided to ensure the store looks clean, organized, welcoming and ready to deliver the
best customer experience
• Show up to work on time, in MOD dress code, and ready to deliver an excellent and memorable MOD
experience to all customers, vendors and fellow squad members
• Demonstrate the fundamentals of hospitality (friendly, accurate and fast) on every shift
• Follow instructions and welcome coaching and direction from all store leaders (All Stars, Shift Captains,
Store Coach, MITs, and GMs)
• Share your knowledge with others to support the success of the team, your store and fellow Squad
members
• Take care of your customers and get to know them by being welcoming and engaging in conversation
when they are in the store. Maintain a mindset of serving others and ensure quality standards are upheld
during busy shifts
• Work closely and have fun together to create the MOD experience for our MOD Squad and our customers

Required Qualifications:
• No experience required; however, you must have the willingness and ability to do the following.
o Demonstrate a passion for people, enjoy connecting with fellow MOD Squad and customers
o Ability to follow processes and instructions in a consistent manner
o Demonstrate a history of consistent attendance and punctuality
o Show an interest to learn, grow and contribute to the success of MOD and your teammates
• Reliable transportation
• You are at least 16 years old. Some states limit specific tools and appliances until 18 years old. Check with
the GM on the requirements for your specific location.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must obtain a food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of your start
date or sooner where required by law
Preferred Qualifications:
• Food/service industry experience
• POS (Point of Sale) experience
Physical Requirements
As a member of our Squad, you must have the ability to work in an open kitchen environment, rotating between
front and back of house. This requires walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, carrying,
pushing and pulling, and in general handling or moving objects weighing up to fifty pounds. You must also have the
ability to operate hand-held appliances, sharp knives, and various kitchen equipment including but not limited to
the industrial can opener, dough press, industrial dishwasher, very hot oven, etc. Depending on the location, you
may need to go up and down stairs and/or use an elevator. You must also have the ability to communicate and
exchange information quickly in English with Squad members and others.
Working Conditions:
• High noise levels due to operations, customers, and overhead music
• May be indoor or outdoor setting depending on store (weather conditions can vary), including delivering
order curbside to the customer
• Will work near moving or mechanical parts, sharp objects, and a very hot oven
• Will work inside a walk-in refrigerator and freezer
• Will work a varying schedule which includes evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates
